Healthy Foods for Healthy Minds
MEROS Academy’s next innovative approach to education involves training students about the relationship between academic ability and physical health. Studies show a strong correlation between a student’s well being and their capacity for learning. A student that is receiving nutritious meals learns better, scores higher on achievement tests, has improved concentration, and has more energy.
With this in mind, MEROS Academy plans to incorporate a program that provides healthy foods and beverages throughout the day. Students will be led in the discovery of how a nutritious diet can improve academic and physical performance.
